Creatures out of the indigenous Dreaming (see Kwakiutl Mythology), the Nulamal move with terrible swiftness and near-silence, and their mask-like faces never move. They wield stone spears and flee to safety in Gowlland Tod Park.

They can track by movement and scent, travel between worlds, and attack through mirrors. They are fearsome foes in a group, although one alone is merely challenging.

The First Nations consider them to be divine “fools,” but most non-natives find nothing foolish about them.
